Refund Policy

The short version: Monthly subscriptions can be cancelled at any time. Refunds are available within 48 hours of payment if your service was not usable due to NXDH's fault. There is no refund for user-caused data loss. If something goes wrong, email us at [email protected] and we will work to make it right.

Monthly Subscriptions

All NXDH services (game server hosting, web hosting, developer VPS, and web design maintenance plans) are billed monthly. There are no lock-in contracts. You may cancel your subscription at any time by contacting us at [email protected] or by opening a support ticket in our Discord server.

  • Cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing period.
  • You will retain full access to your service until the billing period ends.
  • No cancellation fees or penalties apply.
When Refunds Are Available

A full refund of your most recent payment is available if:

  • You request the refund within 48 hours of the payment, and
  • The service was not usable during that period due to a fault on NXDH's part (server outage, misconfiguration, provisioning failure, or technical error caused by NXDH).

To request a refund, email [email protected] with your invoice number and a brief description of the issue. We will review and process approved refunds within 5 business days via the original payment method (Stripe or PayPal).

When Refunds Are Not Available
  • User-caused data loss: If data loss results from actions taken by you or players on your server (accidental deletion, game updates, mod conflicts), no refund is applicable. This is why we provide daily automated backups — contact support for a restore instead.
  • Change of mind: If your service worked correctly but you simply no longer want it, a refund is not available. You may cancel your subscription to avoid future charges.
  • Requests after 48 hours: Refund requests submitted more than 48 hours after payment are not eligible unless exceptional circumstances apply (assessed at NXDH's discretion).
  • Web design deposits: Deposits paid on one-off web design projects are non-refundable once design work has commenced. The scope of what constitutes "commenced" will be agreed in writing before work begins.
Planned Maintenance & Downtime

NXDH performs daily scheduled maintenance at 4:00 AM AWST, which includes a server restart and world backup. This typically takes 5–15 minutes and is announced in the community Discord. Planned maintenance is not considered service unavailability for the purposes of refund eligibility.

Unplanned outages are addressed as quickly as possible. Our watchdog system checks services every 5 minutes and auto-restarts crashed processes. If a significant unplanned outage occurs, we will proactively communicate with affected clients.
